Heres Where I'm Coming From...

We hear so much these days about being “fit”, but what the heck does that mean?  Jacked?  Toned?  “Skinny” Big? – Well, for me, being “fit” is beyond all of that.  Fit is feeling strong in your own skin.  Fit is a confidence that adds that extra hop in your step and keeps you standing an inch taller than usual. I don’t think myself or anyone else in the world can have too much of that, and thats why I am starting this blog. In here you'll find that my thoughts are honest and blunt, the craziness is authentic, and the motivation behind it all is inspired by doing my best to maintain a lifestyle that really is “Too Fit”.

What it is...

My (Me=La) blog about a "Too Fit' lifestyle. Keyword, lifestyle. It's lifestyle blog - theres much more in our worlds to talk about besides the gym, so we're going too. While these won't be the only things, heres some stuff you can expect to see: 
  • What inspires me:
I think one of the first things we need to do when trying to live a "Too Fit" life is to allow yourself to inspired by everything and anything. I will share how I live inspired in hopes you will find your own way of doing the same! It's important to let even the littlest things change us, even for a moment!
  • Workouts: 
Blowing off steam from a long day or week, wanting to look and feel extra good for an event or vacation, "me time" and for some of us, to simply not go crazy - These are just a few reasons why we workout. Every person and fitness level has their own reasons and thats what I find most interesting! Here you will find a mash up of workouts that have tickled my fancy one way or another, good or bad. 
  • Yummy/ easy recipes: 
You are NOT, I repeat you are NOT going to find any fad diet recommendations here. I like food, I actually love it. Enjoying my food is a big part of my lifestyle and what you'll see here is how I make my "fat kid" taste buds satisfied with a healthy diet. I am a picky brat, good food isn't good food to me unless it tastes good.

Of all sorts. I have beautiful people in my life and well, I am vain.

What it is not...

A meathead, fitness expert tutorial with all the answers about health, fitness and life. It's not going to tell you how to drop 5% body fat, loose 10lbs in one month or how to "get big". I am neither a (real) meathead or fitness expert, just a fitness fanatic who has learned a thing or 2 here and there. As far as things you will definitely not see, I can't really say. Let's see how this works with an "anything goes" attitude and see where it takes us!

Heres to the start of this new adventure!

Triggered by one of my ZUMBA tracks spreading to stages outside the studio: bar dance floors and living rooms alike, encouragement from my gal pals and my own guts - I give you "La Too Fit".
